Celebrating the Olympics and Paralympics - Living Paintings

Living Paintings

The Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games are a time for the world to come together in celebration of athleticism, sportsmanship and healthy competition. As families gather around the television to cheer on Team GB and children learn about it’s ancient traditions at school – blind and visually impaired children are at risk of feeling excluded from the visual spectacle.

To ensure every child in the UK has the opportunity to feel fully included in the enjoyment and learning around this global event, we’ve released a range of tactile-audio resources that will bring The Games to life for blind and visually impaired children and young people through touch and sound.

Each pack is a sensory learning experience full of tactile images and audio-guides from a host of Olympic and Paralympic superstars.
