June 2019 – The Botanics Lounge – Living Painting Events
We kicked off our summer of 30th anniversary celebrations, by hosting a special event at the Fieldgate Centre in Kingsclere. The Botanics Lounge transformed the Fieldgate into a pop up nightclub for one night only!
More than £11,200 was raised for our Touch to See library service for blind and partially sighted people. Thank you to everybody who contributed to this successful evening and for supporting the fundraising games and of course the cocktail bar!
June 2019 – Endure24 – Living painting Events
We were delighted to be the chosen charity at the Endure24 challenge held on 14-16 June at Wasing Park in Aldermaston, Berkshire for the second year running. Over 400 children visited to participate in arts and crafts, lucky dip, face painting, tombola and storytelling by popular children’s author Ian Whybrow.
July 2019 – Midsummer Music
On July 6th, we held a celebratory concert at St Nicolas in Newbury with the Cromwell Singers and guest artistes Forty Thieves. Beautiful melodies echoed around the church on this midsummer evening. Refreshments and a fun raffle entertained the 230 attendees and £1,200 was raised for Living Paintings.
