This picture is a black and white drawing and everything looks very cold! Our family is standing with their backs to us at the edge of a river bank, looking across a large river that seems to be home to a number of ducks that are too busy swimming to notice them. In the left page Dog seems to have discovered something interesting on the river bank we can't see his head but his wagging tail shows he is very excited! Big sister has her hands on her hips and now Little Sister holds her brothers stick in the air. On the right page Dad stands - resting his left foot on a rock and one hand in his jean pocket and the other hand on Little Sisters shoulder. On the left edge of the picture Little Brother supports baby as she takes a few steps towards the river bank. How will they get across?
