This box is part of Spot’s Learning Library for pre-school children. It provides the next step from our introductory book, Fun with Spot™, and gives further practice in our system of raised feely pictures accompanied by audio descriptions. The added tactile pictures explain simple topics to help with personal development and understanding the world about us -such as exploring different textures, life cycles, wearing the right clothes and vehicles.

Listen to an audio clip

There's a big, wooden fence which almost stretches across both pages. Spot is climbing through a broken slat of the fence. His bottom is poking out! Lift the fence flap to find out what he's found behind the fence. It's a big snail with a green body and a purple shell. It's saying"¦Hello!
You can feel the snail on the inside of the flap. Start on the left and run your fingers up from the tip of its body, to its head on the right. It has two small eyes and a big smiling mouth. On top of its head there are two antennae, with bumps on the ends of them. Trace around the lovely, smooth, round shell on its back.
woof woofSpot is on the right hand page. He's poking his nose behind the door of a big blue shed.
