Platypus decides it’s the perfect day to go collecting. He finds a bug rock, an old shoe and a broken umbrella, but none of these are quite what he’s looking for. Then he finds a curly shell – just right!

The picture on the front is of a very happy little Platypus and he is carrying his bucket on the left and his spade on the right. Turn over the cover and immediately you will find the first Feely Picture. Platypus himself is standing looking towards the binding across the top of the page. The most extraordinary thing about him is his bill it's huge. Feel it sticking out from his head it is twice as long as one of his arms. It is brown and slightly curved.
