Pip and Posy can’t wait to go out and play in the snow. They have fun, until they decide to build a snowman and things start to go pear-shaped. Pip wants to build a snow rabbit but Posy wants a snow mouse! Oh dear! Happily they resolve their differences over a cosy craft session indoors. Read by Jack Riddiford
We’re going to read a snowy story together so wrap up warm. Posy is a little, brown furry mouse. On the left of her head feel her two round furry ears. The outsides of her ears are fluffy and brown but the insides are pink and velvety smooth. The tip of her nose is pink and she has long, twitchy whiskers – Three on the right and three on the left.
Just under her nose is her big smiley mouth. Pip and Posy are riding on their sledge together, Posy is at the front and Pip is behind with his hands raised in the air as they go. Ooh don’t fall off Pip! Their friends are having great fun too. One little fox has fallen off his sledge and has landed face first in the snow! Whoops! And the little mole looks as though he’s fallen off too – he’s sitting down with a pile of snow on his head!
