This story is set in the topsy-turvy world of monsters who sleep in the daytime and are afraid of humans. Of course, we go to sleep at night-time and sometimes we have scary dreams of monsters which frighten us
The top half of Billy's body is yellow and the bottom half is orange. Trace down to feel his orange paws and red claws held in front of his tummy.
Below this is a big thought bubble, in pink this time, showing Billy being cuddled by a little girl. She has blonde hair in a ponytail and is wearing a flowery top, red skirt, striped tights and trainers. She has her eyes closed and looks as if she is trying to kiss Billy. Billy looks terrified.
This double page picture shows Daddy Monster stroking Billy's head and horns. He's drinking a cup of green slime through a bendy straw, just like your feely picture.
At the bottom right of the page is another round shape. This is an orange Halloween pumpkin, with two eyes and mouth cut out so it looks like a spooky face. It has a short stem on the top. Then below are two round eyes and a jagged mouth. A yellow light glows from inside the pumpkin. Have you ever made a Halloween pumpkin?
I hope you enjoyed this book! And if you ever get scared, try to imagine the monster that's having daymares about you!
