Listen to an audio clip

Smiling Mole is on the front cover, digging a hole with a shiny spade. He's in his garden with bright flowers in the grass all around him and a butterfly fluttering by his big, pink nose.
Turn the cover to find your first feely picture.
Here's Mole digging with a spade. From the left edge of the picture, move your fingers up mole's furry grey back, over his head and down to his smooth, pink nose. Can you feel the two nostrils at the end? Now move back up over his head to his two little eyes with eyebrows above them. Stroke down his body and trace right to feel his arm and his pink hand. He has strong claws which are good for digging but today he's holding the handle at the top of a shiny new spade.
