Mr Magnolia has many things including animals, a scooter, two sisters, an old trumpet and a swimming pool. But, he only has one boot. One day a parcel arrives containing a most glamorous boot to truly make his day!
He has a splendid time but he needs some help with his footwear! It's a galloping rhyme so it's great fun to read.
On the cover is a picture of Mister Magnolia who seems to have got dressed far too quickly and forgotten to brush his hair! It sticks up madly in all directions. None of his clothes match and he has the most enormous bow tie anyone ever wore. But, with a smile stretching from ear to ear he's ready for a jolly good time. His arms are flung wide open and he carries a trumpet, a green parakeet, a teacup and a stripy bathing costume.
