Great for inclusion! My daughter read this book from cover to cover and also to a sighted friend, which was great for inclusion as they both enjoyed the story and the tactile pictures.Parent

It’s the night before Christmas and Holly is too excited to sleep. She keeps hearing noises – tinkling, whooshing, crackling, ‘Is that you, Father Christmas?’ she asks, but it isn’t. Will Father Christmas ever come?

Now we will work our way bit by bit, down the tree which grows wider and wider down to the base. First of all, feel round the pointy edges of its branches and over the rough surface of the whole fir tree. Did you feel a lot of blobs as you went round? These are the brightly coloured balls that hang on the tree. Let's start at the top again and trace over the first two balls below the fairy. The one on the left is silver and the one on the right is purple. Below these feel the red tinsel that stretches across the tree.
