Hello, my name is Toby and I’m going to tell you about the pictures in this book. It’s called ABC and it’s about Percy the Park Keeper and his animal friends who’ll help us to learn the alphabet together. It’s a very cheerful picture on the front cover of the book. In the middle is a bright green wheelbarrow surrounded by apple trees and lots of different animals. There’s a fluffy badger, a grey squirrel and two brown rabbits. Inside the wheelbarrow is a cheeky, orange fox sitting amongst a large pile of juicy apples. Percy the Park Keeper is kneeling beside the wheelbarrow, we’ve created a feely picture of Percy so turn over the page and we’ll explore him now.
