I really enjoyed Fashion Now.Thank you so much for the book. I really enjoyed Fashion Now. It made me remember why I wanted to be a fashion designer when I was younger, and how much I still love coming up with different outfits.Dorothy

In this fashion packed fact book you can explore the history of fashion with TV and radio broadcaster Lauren Laverne as one of the guides. We bring together the worlds of music and fashion and take the listener on a journey through the decades to explore what young people have been wearing since the 1950s. For each decade there’s several short audio guides exploring the fashions, style icons, trends and some funny fashion flops! You can pick and choose what you want to listen to and in what order. On each audio guide there’s plenty of music to set the scene. There’s also styling audio guides to help you style up the vintage trends! This fact book may support subjects in the National Curriculum and is could be used as an educational resource in class. Also good for home-schooling, homework-help, project work, independent learning and reading for pleasure.

The upright feathers are sewn into a band of fabric which is tied around her forehead, trace down to feel this. Now trace over Kate's heart shaped face with its delicate features. Her expression is natural, as if she's actually having fun and not holding a pose for the camera. Because Kate is grinning you'll feel that her eyes are slightly screwed up and her nose is wrinkled, the apples of her cheeks are raised and she has a big cheeky smile. Kate has full natural eyebrows, rather than shaped, over plucked or drawn on brows. She has high cheek bones, which gave her a feline look and a delicate nose.

Fashion NowFashion is the first book I have read from the Living Paintings library and I absolutely loved it. As soon as I started the book I was completely absorbed. I would rate fashion now 9/10 and cant wait to get started on another book.Janine
Completely absorbedI was completely absorbed and it made me feel like I was actually there, which in my opinion is what all good books should be able to do. I also liked that the book gives you advice on how to create the different styles using the clothes you would usually buy.Paula
