A top picture-book artist offers a bright flight of fancy for dinosaur lovers. It seems an ordinary cooking timer when Mum puts it on the fridge and tells Tom not to play with it – but pressing the buttons and twisting the knobs takes him back in time and dumps him in a dinosaur nest!
Above the red buttons is a green zigzagging wire and below is the raised silver edge of an oval with a smaller raised blue oval inside it. I wonder what all the buttons and wires are for. This is a very unusual kitchen timer!
From the timer trace down - what do we have here? Trace all over this shape. It's an orange dinosaur with his bottom stuck in a grey bucket. He is sideways on and facing to the left. Find his long cream coloured horn sprouting from the top of his nose and trace down to his open mouth.
Tom (boy), Kitchen timer and Dinosaur in a bucket
Teradactyl and Diplodocus
T-Rex and Tricerotops.
