A prose elaboration on Humpty Dumpty’s experience on the wall, based on the familiar nursery rhyme.
Now we have a double page of lots of little Humpty Dumptys up to all sorts of tricks. My goodness, what an acrobatic egg he is! He can stand on one leg, balance a plate of cakes in the air, juggle his bricks, stand on his head and do cartwheels. Sometimes he is carrying a pink parasol which he twirls about him. A parasol is a kind of umbrella which keeps off the hot sun instead of the rain.
