Hello, I’m Greg James. This is a story about something that happens in a supermarket at night-time. Like all good stories there’s a baddie, and a goodie that saves the day. Get ready to meet the roundest hero on the high street – Supertato! Across the bottom of the book cover there’s a huge red banner with the title of the book in silver and red letters. Supertato himself is standing above the banner. He’s round and pale brown because, after all, he’s a potato. Turn over the front cover. On the right is our first feely picture which shows Supertato. Trace down and over his shape, he’s a rather large potato shape with two little arms and two little legs. He has a black belt around his middle which has an orange rectangular buckle. In the middle of the buckle is a black S for Supertato.
