EYFS & Key Stage 1

An icon children’s literature – The Very Hungry Caterpillar goes on an epic culinary adventure to transform into a butterfly!

From gauging on juicy apples and sweet pears to gobbling down sticky cake and spicy sausage, we can’t say the caterpillars food choices are entirely nutritious (nor would we ever endorse eating quite as much in one sitting!) – but balance is important. Aren’t we all allowed a sweet treat now and then?

A fun story to help youngsters learn about different flavours and food group – with an audio guide beautifully read by Giovanna Fletcher.

A mobile phone sitting on a wooden table top and wrapped in earphones displays the Living Paintings website.
