The Living Paintings volunteers’ Christmas party

18th December 2017

Living Paintings team hosted the annual volunteers’ Christmas party. It was a chance to say a huge thank you to all the wonderful people who dedicate their free time to helping Living Paintings create and distribute Touch to See books.

This year, the event took place at the beautiful Wasing Park Estate in Berkshire and included a festive lunch, mulled wine and of course, the obligatory Christmas raffle!

A group from Nationwide in Swindon volunteered as waiters and bar staff for the occasion donning black Living Paintings t-shirts and festive headgear.

The event was also a chance for the team to say a fond farewell to Denis Sibley, Living Paintings Operations Manager, who would be retiring at the end of December after eight years with the charity.

Thank you to Wasing Park, Nationwide and all the fantastic local businesses that provided prizes for the raffle: English Provender, Bel & The Dragon, Ali’s Cakes, The Star Inn, The Rowbarge Inn, Ms Joanna Thompson, Camp Hopson, Newlyns Farm Shop, Elphicks, Honesty Bakery and Tesco.
