Harry Potter themed party raises funds for Living Paintings

24th January 2018

A big thank you to RAF High Wycombe for raising £120.11 for Living Paintings!

Kayleigh, a member of the station community, got in touch late last year to tell us all about how they’d raised the funds,

“We have a Halloween party every year to raise money, usually for forces charities. This year I requested for it to be a Harry Potter themed party as part of my book club and, as it was book themed I requested we do a book themed charity. I found your website and felt it would be a great charity to donate to. We decided, in the end, to split the money between Living Paintings and the local school who is trying to raise funds for a new library for the school children to use.”

It’s thanks to the generosity of individuals and communities like RAF High Wycombe, that we can continue to make the world of art and books more accessible for blind and partially sighted people.

If you fancy hosting a themed fundraising party, like Kayleigh, or doing any other kind of fundraising activity, please get in touch. We’d love to hear your ideas and will do all we can to support your efforts.
