Fearne Cotton helps us make her book ‘Yoga Babies’ accessible to blind children

21st August 2020

We’re delighted to announce that Yoga Babies, by Fearne Cotton, is now available for blind children to enjoy. Our big thanks go to the wonderful Fearne Cotton who was super-happy to help us make her book accessible to blind children in the UK.

Fearne lends her voice to the audio soundtrack, guiding little fingers over the feely pictures and describing the pretty illustrations by Sheena Dempsey.

Thumbs up from Matilda!

Lara and her daughter Matilda, four years old and blind, had a wonderful time with the book:

Matilda absolutely loved the book. We really enjoyed the story and she loved acting out the yoga positions afterwards. Such a lovely book to read together.

About the book

‘We’re the Yoga Babies, look what we can do!’ The Yoga Babies love to have fun trying new poses. Sometimes life is busy and tricky, but not to worry! Yoga can help everyone chill out. Follow these babies big and small as they practise yoga at home, in the garden and before bedtime, then you can have a go at home, too!

Special extras for blind children

To the mainstream published book we have added our VI-kid friendly extras.
