Cake and coffee stall raises over £300

1st June 2017

Living Paintings were invited to run a coffee and cake stall during Ian Sanderson’s warehouse fabric sale, near Newbury, on 17th and 18th May.

Despite talk of a possible drought on the news, the day of the sale brought torrential rain! Luckily we were prepared, and as well as lots of amazing home-made cakes, we had a large marquee set up to welcome our guests. We raised over £300 from donations and our wonderful volunteers did an amazing job of baking and serving cake – we couldn’t have done it without them. We took some of our unique Touch to See books with us for people to look at and had a very busy couple of days telling the many visitors to the fabric sale all about Living Paintings.
