The difference you’ll make

a picture collage showing four children reading touch to see picture books.

Imagine not being able to share a Christmas story with the children in your life.

We exist so that no blind or visually impaired child needs to miss out on the magic of stories. Through touch and sound, we bring the wonderful world of children’s picture books to life so blind children can experience them just like everybody else – just in a way that works for them.

But our books are so much more than stories. Their benefit can impact every part of their lives. 81% say our books give help them meet new friends and socialise. 88% say our books give them the confidence to engage in classroom discussions. Over three quarters say we empower them to try new activities they hadn’t thought possible.

There are more blind children, families and schools than ever asking for our special books. Your gift will help us be there for them, creating new accessible stories and keeping access to our unique service 100% free for those who need us. But it will also do so much more…

This Christmas, you can help children who are blind or visually impaired feel fully included and take their place in our visual world.
