Simple rhyming text and humorous speech bubbles are used to tell the story of nine ducks and the fun they have outwitting the hungry fox who is stalking them.
If you can feel the braille on the cover, you will read the title 'Nine Ducks Nine' and the name of the writer, Sarah Hayes. Now open the cover and find the first Feely Picture. It shows us four out of the nine ducks. Can you feel them? They are all different shapes. Start with the one at the top. It is flying away to the right. Feel the strong spikey wing feathers all stretched out above its back. The duck flaps these up and down to keep him in the air. Move to the right along his neck and find his head with a beady black eye and pointed yellow beak. Feel back across his body, moving your fingers up and down to enjoy the feathers.
