A fantastically funny and warm tale of feline festivities, Kerr’s evergreen classic of the beloved Mog’s Christmas preparations is perfect reading for all the family.
It’s Christmas, and Mog’s house is full of strange noises and peculiar smells. Everyone is busy hanging holly and blowing up balloons, and where is that tree going…?
Judith Kerr is the author of many novels for children, including ‘The Tiger Who Came To Tea’, and her first novel ‘When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit’, won the Jugendbuchpreis in Germany.

Hello, my name is Tacy and I will be describing the pictures in Mog’s Christmas. The writer of this story is my mother, Judith Kerr, and she’s also the illustrator. My family had a cat called Mog who was very funny and often made my Mum laugh so she decided to write lots of stories about her. This is one of them and it’s set at Christmastime.
On the front cover is the star of our story, Mog the cat, who’s standing in front of a beautiful Christmas tree. She’s wrapped in gold tinsel and is playing with a gold bauble. The Christmas tree behind Mog is decorated with colourful baubles and a pink star on the top. Under the tree are five beautifully gift wrapped presents, I wonder what’s inside them.
