The story is about how Kipper decides that his bed is old and uncomfortable and how he tries to find a better place to sleep. There's a picture of Kipper on the front of the book. He's looking right at you waving a paw and balancing on one leg which is a bit odd for a dog, isn't it? He looks very friendly and happy. He's standing by a rather old looking dog basket, which has a checked blanket and an old bone sticking out of it. Now turn the page and you'll find the first feely picture. It’s Kipper standing on all four feet sideways on but his head is turned to face us. If you start at the left hand side of the page near the binding of the book, you'll find Kipper’s tail sticking up, the end of it is very bushy, and it's dark brown.
