On a little island shaded by a single coconut tree lives a happy man. Across the water lives a greedy king who wants the island and the coconuts for himself – and is prepared to try every trick in the book to get them! But could it be that he’s bitten off a little more than he can chew?

This is the top of the palm tree. You can feel the bright green Palm fronds which are like leaves going out on either side. They're very big broad leaves, aren't they?
Move your fingers down just a bit and in the centre of all these leaves feel some round shapes. These are the brown coconuts which are growing on the palm tree. Coconuts are round and have very hard shells when they are ripe and they are about as big as your head. I really like to eat coconuts. Don't you?
You can feel around one in the centre and then half-circles of the other ones. We can't feel the shape of each round coconut because they're all jumbled up behind each other.
