Hello, my name is Chemmy and I'm an Olympic Skier. I travel the world with my sport and like our Granny in the story I've been to many different countries. One of my favourite places to visit is Switzerland because I love skiing in the Swiss Alps. In the story Granny visited Switzerland and on the picture page were snow capped mountains, green hills and cows grazing and there was even a man playing a long tube-like instrument called an Alp horn. It sounds like this
*Alp horn
Now for a bit of geography - Switzerland borders many European countries and it doesn't have a coast. This is known as being land locked. The Alps mountain range runs through the middle of the country. These mountains are very high and so they're covered in snow for many months of the year. This makes the mountains a travel destination for many people who enjoy snow sports like skiing and snow boarding.
