Gruffalo Granny to join the Living Paintings library!

COMING SOON – Gruffalo Granny will join our library on September 10th 2026!
Thanks to Macmillan for funding the accessible version of Gruffalo Granny so blind children don’t have to wait to enjoy the new Gruffalo story!
We’re thrilled to share some wonderful news. Macmillan Children’s Books has generously funded the production of an accessible audio-tactile edition of Gruffalo Granny, meaning children who are blind or visually impaired will be able to enjoy the story at the very same time as the mainstream launch.
This is a landmark moment for Living Paintings. Too often, accessible versions of beloved books arrive long after the excitement of a new release has faded, leaving children who are blind or visually impaired on the outside of a conversation their sighted peers are already having. Thanks to Macmillan’s commitment, that won’t be the case here. Our audio-tactile Gruffalo Granny will be ready from day one, September 10th 2026!
