The weather’s getting warmer and the days are getting longer… yes, it’s summer! Over the holidays, the Summer Reading Challenge encourages young children to engage with books – why should children who are blind or visually impaired miss out? So, we’ve got some accessible book recommendations perfect for this sun-soaked season!
The Bears who Went to the Seaside
In a country with famously unreliable weather, one of the great joys of summer is to go to the seaside. The beach is a treasure trove of activity for young children, and, in our accessible adaptation of The Bears who Went to the Seaside, every child can feel a part of the fun.
