About our books

All of our books are handcrafted by our incredible volunteers. Illustrations from the story are recreated in tactile form and are accompanied by audio descriptions that guide visually impaired children through the raised pictures to help them ‘see’ in their own way – through touch and sound.

They also include braille and are available for free from our postal library for blind and visually impaired children across the UK.
