My name's Dr Dean Lomax. I’m a palaeontologist. This means I study dinosaurs. I dig for dinosaurs, study them, read and write about them. This story is about Harry - and what happens when he takes his bucketful of dinosaurs to school. Now let’s meet Harry’s dinosaur which is peeking out of the top of a bucket on the right side of the page! This double page is filled with dinosaurs! There are seven different species in lots of different colours. Dinosaurs have very long names. Maybe you’ve heard of some of them before like Tyrannosaurus (TY-RAN-O-SAW-US), Stegosaurus (STEG-O-SAW-US), Triceratops (TRI-SER-A-TOPS) and a flying reptile called a Pterodactyl (TER-RUH-DAK-TIL). This double page picture shows a close up of Harry and Digger Boy with the bucket of dinosaurs in between them. Harry is proudly pointing towards the dinosaurs, who have now sprung to life! They are wiggling and squiggling with their mouths wide open, full of mischief! Digger Boy is looking into the bucket cautiously, still holding onto his digger. Maybe he hasn’t met any dinosaurs before!
